Hi,
Very impressed with this site. I am dental technician
from the northeast of Scotland (Portsoy) half way between
Inverness and Aberdeen. I have been a technician for 21
years and run my own dental lab but have wanted to be
a denturist for many years. Unfortunately it is illegal
in the UK at this moment in time!!! I look forward to
hearing from you at some point in the future. Best

I just
came across your sight in the dental lab products, and
was happy to see it. I've been a lab tech for 25 years,
and always wanted to do just denture work, but the pay
is lousy, and you work your butt off. In my lab I specialized
in C&B, but always kept my foot in dentures, in case
that sometime in the future it would be legal. I live
in Illinois, and know that it will never be legal here
for the ADA is located in this state. I have read over
the years about Canada, where a denture technician, with
a license could work directly with the public. I would
like to receive information about the schooling, the courses,
length of program, and last but not least the cost for
completion. Any help would be appreciated.

for the wonderful information. As a denture technician,
I wouldlove to see these ridiculous laws changed that
give dentist a monopolyand cost patients their hard earned
money. In Kentucky it is ridiculous what some people have
to pay for dentures. Will keep in touch and hope to join
