'BACK TO WORK' September/October 2000 We at Denturist Insight hope that you have had a wonderful summer vacation. We are proud to announce that during the summer we have added Ely Miranda, a very capable webmaster to our staff. Mr. Miranda has helped to add a more professional touch to our services. During our staff meetings, we have also made many adjustments in our approach in building and supporting the denturist profession. Thanks to technology, we now have the communicative means to increase the denturist ranks exponentially. Join us by supporting your state association and the American Denturist Advocacy Council. We are certainly not infallible, so please have patience as we develop our program and we promise that you will see rapid progress. The first thing that we want to address is that you as individuals are valuable assets to Denturist Insight as well as to the denturist profession. During the past year, we have communicated with over one thousands denturists across the country. During the process, it was inevitable that we could not adequately follow up on all communication. Even though we have done our very best, we have failed to meet the needs of some. We apologize for any inconvenience and we encourage you not to give up, but to get yourself right back into the system by contacting us. We also are keeping you informed by the use mailing updates, and have lost communication with scores of denturists due to change of address. If your physical or e-mail address has changed, please fill out the Visitor Comments form so that we can update our database. Many events pertaining to the denturist profession are occurring throughout the country. Three lawsuits are in progress in the state of Washington. Two other states are filing suits against their dental board this month and another is being prepared and should be filed before the end of the year. Some of these states already have regulated denturist practice and some do not. At any rate, all of these lawsuits will help to advance the denturist profession. The latter three are confidential, however, we will be able to inform you of their nature after the initial filings. Many states are building denturist associations, thanks to the ADAC State Coordinator Program. One more noteworthy item, denturists throughout the country are graduating from denturist programs in significant numbers. These are just a few highlights, however, we are depending on you to inform us of national and local denturist events that are note worthy of publishing. Our staff will be constantly entering updates from around the country. Over the last three years Denturist Insight and ADAC, combined, have exhausted tremendous amounts of hours and out of pocket expenditures into the denturist profession. To give you an idea where our efforts are heading, by June 2001 we expect to be in communication with over five thousand denturists. If you plug into the program, I am sure that without a doubt that the profession will be a reality for you in less than two years. Keep your eyes open for rapid progress. And remember, we all know that there are three classifications of people according to motivation; those that make things happen, those that watch things happen and those that, when everything is accomplished, say: "what happened!" We invite you to join us and be a supporter. Click for the American Denturist Advocacy Council |
