June 1999 Welcome to the opening of denturistinsight.com. We are a network in which information can be passed on to denturists nationwide in order to help them advance. We are also a referral service to state organizations. Additionally we offer assistance in building state organizations. Among our visitors, we are looking for a few men and women from each state who have guts and are willing to sacrifice. We need to know of individuals who are willing to coordinate, inform and lead the ones who are venerable to the system. Please note that there are no fees to pay for this national service. However, you are encouraged to support your state association. Our recommendations for state associations are, first, confidentiality. There is no reason why any names have to be made public. The most important asset is a large membership. At least twenty for every million that you state carries in population. We will list the state organizations on our site as they come available. Some are worried about competition. The average denturist makes well over $100,000 annually. How many technicians make that kind of money? Don't worry, there will be plenty of business for everyone. State dues are the next thing to consider. Large assessments are not necessary. As a matter of fact, large assessments are one of the evils that can cause organizations to crumble. Dues do not have to exceed more the $50 quarterly. Members, something you can do to help is always fill out you forms legibly and pay your dues on time, if not in advance. This will save very many long hours of the secretary's and treasurer's time away from there family. There is one other essential, education. Not enough can be said about education. Every denturist must take a program equivalent to the Mills Grae Univirsity, College of Denturitry program. Some are afraid of education. Let me tell, I experienced the program. It is not too difficult for any technician who is willing to take the time. The information, the way it is taught, is something that every technician can master. Scores of graduates will attest to this. This gives you a basic background about what it takes to become a denturist. It is of utmost importance to remember, your persistence and dedication. will cause you to become a denturist. We welcome your visit. We value letters and articles and we will be happy to answer questions, publicly on our site. We will try to publish as many as possible. If you feel it is risky to use your name, use your initials; but please, always name your state. It is my delight to be your editor. |
