Editorial
You probably thought that there would never be another editorial on denturistinsight, but sometimes due to circumstances good things must come when least expected. We have had much progress over the past few months. There hasn’t been another state added recently, but the practice of legal denturitry throughout the whole United States is right around the corner. Currently, some great opportunities have opened up for us. It is going to happen initially, where denturists are concentrated and organized. As we know, many of us have the tendency to resent the dental profession. This is a turf battle, but it is the system, not individual dentists, that are to blame. Dentists and denturists would fare much better if we became allies. Can you imagine, no more mud slinging, but a mutually profitable working relationship. We have to stop making ourselves the victims. We are not the victims, the denture wearers are!!!
Dentistry is saying everywhere, that the denturist profession is a reality. They are telling their peers that the profession is unstoppable. They never have sensed it more, that we are on the move! We as denturists and technicians can enjoy immediate rewards. Just by making a few changes, most technicians can probably double their wages. If you are willing to move, e-mail us and ask where you can advance more rapidly. You may contact us either by e-mail or telephone.
Many technicians (not licensed denturists) are working out of their basements, garages and living rooms. Although this is not what we have in mind, by doing such, many have far exceeded their laboratory income. Thousands of technicians practice in this manner and many have built large underground practices solely by word of mouth. Although this practice has eroded dentures from the dental profession and will eventually get the denturist profession legal, it is not what we recommend.
What we recommend is a legal practice that you can get involved in right now. Get in touch with us and we will share some of our secrets with you. If you desire to relocate to another state, let us know. Do not give up. Major changes are soon to happen.
Now that we have a new web master, we will be in touch monthly. Our new web master is Robyn Huss. She is going to be a great asset to the profession. We also would like to introduce Lori Harvey our new secretary. Lori handles incoming calls and the periodic mailings. She is also working hard on many facets of the organization along with developing our data directories. Better organization will improve our communications.
Warm regards from
Denturist Insight.
